All-Terrain Vehicle in Minnesota attempt World’s Longest ATV Parade

The All-Terrain Vehicle Association and Silver Bay will make another attempt on June 23rd to get into the Guinness world records for the world’s longest ATV parade. In 2009 the record stood at 1,632 but this was beaten in 2010 by a Utah group with 1,870. This year the organizers of the event are hoping to get 2,000 riders. (more…)

Police in Craigavon tackle crime with quad bikes

Neighbourhood officers in Craigavon have a new way of tackling crime in the area: two new quad bikes. The quad bikes were purchased using funds from the Assets Recovery Incentivisation Scheme. Proposed changes could drastically change farm quad effectiveness

George Lyon on behalf of the Scottish Liberal Democrats is against proposed changes where manufacturers of farm quads would have to build them to road specifications. He has been campaigning and declared that the changes would drastically reduce the effectiveness of quad bikes on the farm. One of the changes proposed is to have a speed limit of 40kph for all ATVs. Couple turn mud into money in New Zealand

A couple originally from New Plymouth have found that they can turn mud into money in New Zealand. The couple, who are avid quad bike riders, have launched Egmont Quads Taranaki and are waiting for customers to arrive for the first hour long farm trail tours on quads. (more…)
