Two new ATVs have made their debut this summer much to the delight of fans of quad bikes and farmers who rely on them every day. The first of these was in July when the Diesel 4ce was shown at the Royal Welsh. The second in August is the Polaris Ranger CREW.

Visitors to the Royal Welsh got a sneak preview of what has been classed as the new generation of quad bikes from a new manufacturer. This 4 wheeler is air cooled with the 840cc quad capable of 45 mpg. The new quad is marketed under the name of Diesel 4ce BY Enviro Transport solutions. It features independent suspension all round and it is thought that it will be competitively priced when it is released.

The latest addition from Polaris is the Ranger CREW, capable of being able to carry six adults in a cab with a 904 cc three cylinder diesel engine. The cab is split into two rows of three seats with a slide design and comes with a steering wheel that provides 254 mm of tilt. The CREW comes with one tonne towing and a 2 inch ball hitch. There are various modes of traction including four wheel and two wheel drive with differential lock.

Both of the news designs brought a great deal of interest and excitement. The Ranger CREW will be a great addition for those who use quads for work, thanks to its towing capabilities and the ability to carry passengers or equipment around, while the Diesel 4ce with its competitive pricing will be suitable for a wide range of ATV users.
