One of the largest and most impressive annual race quad events is set to take place over the weekend of the 9th and 10th February in Weymouth.
This is the first weekend in 2013 that the Dickies Workwear Weymouth Beach race will take place. The event will keep race ATV fans happy as the last event, the Lions Beach Motocross, was held four months ago.
The event will be free to watch and as it offers a weekend of fun packed action, the organisers are expecting it to attract large crowds. The event is expected to provide a huge boost to trade in the region, which is generally slow during the off peak season.
The race has been in the making for over 18 months and organisers are eager and confident that it will be a success. It is set to add to the annual event programme in the region, which is already very diverse.
Riders and spectators of all ages are invited to take part in the race and competitors are descending on the area from all regions of the UK; there will be international competitors too. Along with watching race quad bikes, youth motorbikes and buggy racing, spectators will be able to enjoy trade stands.
The council briefholder said that he wished ORE Events luck with the new event and was excited to welcome all riders and their crews. He finished off by saying that he thought it would be a great success.
